Phoenix Championship Wrestling came into existence in September of 2017 as the developmental brand of TWA under the guidance of Leon Babula. Shortly after, Mike Quackenbush (@Spyrazul) became the primary owner and general manager of PCW. For little over a year, PCW was used as the beginning stages for superstars before they ascended to the big leagues.

 

Vice versa, talents could be brought down to PCW for additional training and fine tuning. In November of 2018, the brand officially became its own promotion. Since then, there has been a change in leaders amongst the talent. From Mike to Jimmy to currently Taya Valkyrie, Phoenix Championship Wrestling has undergone a multitude of changes that has influenced its growth and flexibility as a promotion. The roster, albeit small, includes a range of talents from all over the globe with a variance of wrestling styles that adds onto PCW’s unique, and sometimes controversial, ways of operation.

 

As the company nears 2020, there is much confidence in its ability to continue evolving and becoming a home for performers from all over the world who are looking to showcase their exceptional talents and skills in the realm of professional wrestling.
