As the roster continues to expand, and the company strives to create an almost limitless environment in their storylines and matches, it now seems appropriate to formulate written rules and regulations to keep role-play a safe and fun place for EVERYONE to freely enjoy.

  • Phoenix Championship Wrestling is strictly a promo-based company, meaning we (especially Taya) expect our talent to promote every week. Even if you are not currently booked, speaking out and putting PCW on notice is the best way to capture our attention. Promotion doesn’t guarantee you will win titles, storylines, or matches, BUT they provide a way for the writer to gauge commitment and effort levels for the company. The more effort and commitment shown, the chance for success increases.

For those who show a lack of commitment and effort, your chances not only decrease, but so does your booking rate. The writer will exclude your character from future bookings if it proves to be a waste of time and energy that goes into the show every week. Starting now, failure to promote after three bookings without giving a reason for lack of effort will result in being left off the show. If the writer continues to see a lack of effort and commitment to the company, you will be released.

  • As stated above, PCW aims to be a fun and safe environment for everyone involved. If it is known by the writer that unnecessary drama and altercations occur between talents that interferes with PCW, all participants will be asked to handle their issues in private and in a quick manner. If they cannot agree to remain peaceful, they will be separated in PCW. If the participants continue to interfere with PCW, they will not be booked and potentially released.

The writer and owner are not above these rules. We must also uphold a level of professionalism and be fair across the board as we make booking decisions. We should strive even more than talents to showcase maturity and be open with our roster when constructive criticism is given. As long as talents approach us with respect and genuine concern, we will return the same attitude.

  • PCW will not sign DTFs or accounts that exhibit homophonic, transphobic, racist, sexist, and other inappropriate behaviours. They will not be looked at, spoken to, or even followed back. While we encourage people to join, we uphold standards in this company that maintains credibility. If many of the talents are uncomfortable with a particular character, PCW will not sign them or release them in order to best serve the majority of the roster.

  • PCW will not sign OCs with face claims that are already signed. While it is unfortunate that some will be turned away, it is unfair to pick and choose. It will always be based on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • The writer is happy to talk with characters about storylines and matches. This shows another level of commitment and effort, BUT the writer will not interrupt current storylines or change matches for your character. The writer will also ultimately decide who wins and loses and characters should maintain professionalism if they disagree with the results. We are always willing to listen to our talents and do better in the future, but we will also maintain our own autonomy and will not allow talents to make unreasonable demands.

The above rules are likely to change as time goes on and be updated to fit changes in role-play. They are not meant to hinder talents, rather to maintain a warm, friendly environment for all involved. If you take issue with any of these rules, please DM us at the company's twitter account (@TimeForPhoenix) directly to Mike (@Spyrazul) or Taya (@MeritPrevailed) to discuss.
